hey there,
I'm Tana.
Clickin' my camera over 100,000 times since 2013.

Praising God, doing it the right way, and blessing you in the biggest way I can.
It is my top priority to honor God.
It is my Lord and Savior who has blessed me with these opportunities and therefore it is my honor and privilege to bless those who put their trust in me.
I pay my taxes (yes, even when you pay cash).
Roughly 35% of every fee I charge goes back to taxes. This doesn't include all of the business expenses.
I will always have an affordable option.
I always want my prices to respect my time, effort and expenses, while remaining fair to you.
I won't up charge you for more pictures.
I will never dangle photos in front of you and make you pay more than you already are for the session. If I'm taking the time and effort to cull, edit and present the photos, you will get them. Period.
I don't overbook myself.
You are important. I focus on quality over quantity. Yes, finances are important, but doing it right is more important to me.
I don't outsource editing.
I personally edit each and every photo and film you will receive. I don't hire outside companies.
Whatever is going on, you are welcome here.
This one is for the fearful mommas.
- The momma who has a teenager with social anxiety and she knows he won't look at the camera
- The momma who texted me five minutes before our session to tell me this "will be a disaster"
- The momma with the colicky baby who will cry every other minute
- The momma with a kiddo with special needs who has violent tendencies and prone to meltdowns
- The momma whose family is struggling with terminal illness
- The momma who put off pictures because of stubborn postpartum weight
- The momma whose husband won't tolerate more than five minutes worth of pictures
...and the list goes on. I want the mommas who are avoiding a photo session because of the fear of whatever challenges their family may bring, to know they are not alone.
I have been a photographer for over ten years and I've had every above situation (most more than once) in this past year alone. Each and every photo session with whatever unique circumstances it involved, ended with new friends and well-received beautifully authentic photos. It is my top priority for your family to feel comfortable and confident, even if that means more patience, reassurance, and time on my end. To me, it is worth it. Because even the mommas who may have special circumstances deserve to have a photographer who takes the time to befriend their family.
For the mommas who are fearful, I ask you to put your trust in me to be your next family friend first and your photographer second. If it's been years since your last family photo, let's do it together in 2024.
